May the blessing of Light be upon you
Light on the outside, Light on the inside
그대의 삶에도, 그대의 영혼에도
주님의 은총의 빛이 충만하소서
With God's sunlight shining on you
May your heart glow with warmth like a turf fire
That welcomes friends and strangers alike.
주님의 빛이 그대를 비추어
친구나 낯선 사람을 골고루 환영하는
따스한 모닥불 같은 마음이 그대에게 피어나기를
May the Light of the Lord shine from your eyes
Like a candle in the window
Welcoming the weary traveler
지친 나그네를 반기는 창가의 한자루 촛불같이
주님의 광채가 그대의 눈에서도 빛나게 하소서
May the blessing of God's soft rain be on you
Falling gently on your head
Refreshing your soul
With the sweetness of little flowers newly blooming
주님의 은총이 부드러운 빗줄기 같이
그대 머리위에 잔잔히 내려앉아
새롭게 피어나는 작은 꽃같이
그대의 영혼을 항상 새롭게 하여주시기를
May the strength of the winds of Heaven bless you
Carrying the rain to wash your spirit clean
Sparkling after in the sunlight
주님의 강하신 능력이 그대를 축복하고
빗물로 그대의 영혼을 깨끗히 씻어내고
햇빛에 반짝일수 있도록 하여 주시고
May the blessing of God's Earth be on you
And as you walk the roads
May you always have a kind word
For those you meet
주님 나라의 은총이 그대와 함께 하시어
그대가 길에서 만나는 모든이에게
친절한 말을 나눌수 있도록 하여 주소서
May you understand the strength and power of God
In a thunderstorm in winter
And the quiet beauty of creation
In the calm of a Summer sunset
겨울날의 천둥번개 속에서나
창조의 아름다움을 느낄 수 있는
여름의 고요한 석양 속에서
주님의 권능과 영광을 느낄 수 있도록 하소서
And may you come to realize that
Insignificant as you may seem
In this great universe
You "are"
An import! ...! ant part of God's plan
그리하여 이 위대한 우주 속에서
그대가 하찮은 존재로 느껴진다 하더라도
그대는 주님의 중대한 임무를 부여받고
태어났다는 사실을 인식하소서
May He watch over you
And keep you safe
From harm
주님께서 그대를
시련으로부터 지켜 주시고
해악에서 보호하소서
